Two American girls are doing an internship with Global Family and have started a craft class with one of Global Family’s education programs located in Vikas Nagar, West Delhi. The arts and craft class will take place every Friday afternoon. Along with teaching the arts and crafts, the girls also assist the local staff in any other way needed. For example, if the teacher needs a lunch break, the girls would take over the classroom for about half an hour to teach a song or have story time. Global Family provides opportunities to volunteer in both India and Nepal and are accepting applications for those who are looking to serve abroad. Volunteering can range from one month to six months in India or Nepal, or possibly both places within the given time frame the volunteer chooses to stay.
